I passed on many other tier curtains after spending days reading reviews complaining of poor workmanship and/or fabrics. Further limiting my options was my need for a tier curtain that was neither of the black-out or sheer variety.This Barossa fabric has a nice hand and heft, so it provides my desired night-time privacy. Because I chose white, however, the curtain permits a pleasant amount of light during the day.If you are a fan of true waffle weave, you might be disappointed in this Barossa pattern. There is a semblance of that design, certainly. However, the prominent pattern to my eyes is of dots. These dots add a cheeriness to these curtains, so I am still pleased with the detail and overall appearance.For those who will be placing this Barossa product in a window next to an outside door, you will be pleased to know that this curtain is attractive when viewed from either side.I have yet to launder the product, so I can't speak to its durability.We bought these curtains to cover windows in our bedroom. We live in an old mill and have a double door w 2 windows in each. Wanted light to come thru and still maintain privacy. They worked out great. Tried to iron out the wrinkles and couldn't so sprayed them and put them in the dryer - all the wrinkles came out!I like the fact it's water resistant.Bought this for window in the shower. Only needed one panel since the window isn’t large. So far, so good. Have had it up for a few weeks, holding up well. After I wash it the first time, I will update my review.I looked at a lot of the options on Amazon before choosing these curtains. Many of the others were either too sheer or completely black out, didn't have the color I wanted, or the sizes were not good for what I need.These are just right. These curtains are a very nice light cream color, and are mid range as far as sheerness-no one is going to see through these, but the light comes through so that the room isn't dark. (I dont know if a darker color would let in as much light) They are made of sturdy light weight material and the stitching on mine is well done. They came out of the bag ready to hang, no wrinkles at all. I got one set to cover a double window and even with the curtains stretched out full length along the rod, the top "ruffle" bit above the rod stays upright. The waffle weave does give these curtains a pattern, so there is a little contrast where the "waffling" is.I don't know if these curtains are waterproof or resistant. I have them on windows nowhere near water.I am very satisfied with my curtains, and I plan on getting more for my other windows.I added these in my rv bedroom and they have been very great.
