Inside Mounted: Measure the window inside width and height. Deduct 1/5 inch on the window width to get the shade width to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame, shade height could be the same as the window height. Ensure you have enough window depth, at least 3 inches.

Outside Mounted: Measure the window frame width and height. Add 3~6 inches to the window frame width and 5~8 inches to the window frame height.
