My wife decided recently that the theme of our newly updated bedroom will be night sky. We have a constellation duvet cover, so constellation curtains were the logical next step.These are really nice curtains, with a classy and understated design that doesn't immediately attack your eyeballs when you come in the room. They also do a great job as blackout curtains, not letting a sliver of light through even at noon. The price is comparable to other curtains of similar quality. Get these for the star-lover in your life!I rarely write reviews but these drapes were really nice! Especially for the price! Have satin-like drape with heavy lining that are complete black-out curtains and look much more expensive than they were.Our master bedroom faces east and is fairly large, so this makes blackout curtains a must for sleeping after sunrise and keeping things cool in general. This morning our toddler decided to not make any noise, and we slept in late…to which my husband remarked that these curtains worked too well.I’m happy, but you’ve been warned. ?It’s a great value for the length and weight. Maybe a little shiny but we are using it in a dedicated theater room so the sheen is not too noticeable.I like them in general, but instead 172 in I was sent 12 in shorter, mistake in packaging.Unfortunately these did not fit my window but they were of supurb quality,soft and heavy.Fit for what we needThe beige is more gray than I like. Not as attractive as in the picture. However, the size and black out qualities are good.Great quality! Love the pattern and the fabric. Blocks out a good amount of light for a light colored fabric (got the 'beige', white paper for comparison in photo).I’m happy with my purchase. This is the first time I purchased at Amazon. Hopefully this review will help another sleep deprived mama out there. I needed blackout blinds for our baby’s nursery and these work well! Got the navy blue colour and ironed them on the back, as another reviewer recommended. Needed a shorter panel as not to touch the baseboard heater. These slide easily along the rod for nap times. The fabric isn’t overly heavy. The design is so sweet and whimsical. I’m glad I went with these ones! Just for reference in the pictures, they’re the 42” x 63” set and my rod hangs a good 1-2 feet above our window.I purchased these to replace a pair of bedroom curtains (from a different company) that let in too much light. I bought the navy color, and I am very pleased. The fabric has a good hand to it - slightly silky - and the foil constellations give it a nice whimsical touch.Best of all, they do a great job at blocking out the light...I'd say probably 95%. The only light that comes in now is just what 'bleeds in' from around the window-frame. Great value for the money!Normally I prefer a light-filled bedroom, but after undergoing laser eye surgery, I knew that my eyes would be heavily sensitive to daylight and opted for a blackout curtain to help reduce eye-strain and pain during recovery. At first I thought this would only be a temporary decorative touch but these curtains are a) really cute b) extremely effective at blocking light and c) surprisingly good at reducing noise! I didn't expect to enjoy them so much and now they are a permanent part of our bedroom. It helps me sleep easier, and deeper, and I don't need to worry about hurting my eyes upon waking.
